Q. What is Politikids all about?

A. Politikids is to help kids to understand that their opinion matters too.

Q. Do people ever get mad at you for what you do?

A. It hasn't happened yet, but it might.

Q. Is expressing your opinion that important?

A. Of course! If your opinion isn't heard, then you'll have no say and things might not turn out the way you want. Let's say that school is choosing between having vanilla or chocolate ice cream for dessert. You don't vote because you don't think your opinion matters. Your favorite flavor is vanilla but it lost by one vote. If you had voted, then you would have at least had a tie. Now do you see why it matters?
